I've been looking at this model, a bronze & a flieger as possible future pick ups & always thought the bronze I got would be a flieger.

I love patina, but that’s a bit much for me. That said, there’s something about these watches that makes me want to buy a bunch of them to mod.

I highly recommend it. These AE1200s are like potato chips. You can’t stop at just one.

Sort of get that but if you think about some of the restoration projects people do on old vintage watches they generally leave the face etc alone and give it a new crystal so I'd stick with it as it is, looks great as is IMHO.

I like it, but does it turn your wrist green?

I only has that happen with one bronze watch where the the buckle was directly against my skin and I was sweating. Never had a problem with any other bronze. This one hasn’t given me any trouble.
