Momentum watches

Anybody have anything to say about these watches?? Been looking at them and I'd like to know more. I signed up for their new letter and all that jazz. Any word would be gladly accepted.

I have a Sea Quartz 30 that I love. I don't have any other experience with the brand though.

@Watchovski care to chime in?

I have a Torpedo... got it for the lume. I put a nicer strap on it and now it's my vacation watch. The one con I would mention is that it seems the crown doesn't stay screwed in all the time.

That's not a good thing 😔

I’ve had a couple Torpedos and also a few of the Steelix model. All regular quartz. For me they are extremely comfortable. That said, the hands are all too short, the lume is next to non existent. The date is printed way too small, smaller than on most watches in fact.

What killed them for me is that I purchased a brand new bracelet from Momentum for the Steelix. It killed the watch for me. The bracelet was so uncomfortable, not only a hair puller but a pincher. Also the end links did not fit the case well. I quickly got rid of the watch after this experience. I will not buy anything else from Momentum.

Thanks for the shout @Lauren I’m actually working on a review as we speak on them. I own two, my kids all just acquired their own…we like them. They’re definitely more unknown right now which is great for prices:value ratios :)

I picked it up almost a year ago. I have been wearing it frequently over the year, and absolutely love it.

Have owned 2-3 Momentum models. Very much fairly priced watches. Nothing exciting or innovative but are well made.

I've had a SQ30 for about 3 months, and it's alright. Mine has some pretty glaring QC issues that make me not love it a ton, but if those weren't there, I'd be keeping it.

So very close to keepable peices? Just some glaring qc issues?
