Collection Update Jan 2024

End of 2023, I could be content and end the journey there but I still felt the collection wasn’t me yet.

Even though my 2024 collection has less consistency it is more aligned to my lifestyle and self expression.

The Tudor Tiger, being a fun and alternative to Rolex Daytona. I felt it was quite the opposite to my lifestyle. It invoked energy if someone with a racing spirit, leather jackets and motorbikes.

Don’t get me started with screwed down Chronograph pushers.

Cartier’s white canvas: The Cartier Tank, aligned more with my lifestyle of food, social and appreciation for aesthetics. It solved the itch diving into leather straps.

The Cartier Galbee was a hard one to watch leave the collection. In a world where I could have unlimited money the Tudor Tiger and Cartier Galbee would stay.

Audemar Piguet Day Date is my latest pick up. Being 33/34mm in diametre, it does hang on the edge for my preferred sizes but not my first small size watched.

From its lacquered dial and classically printed day date subdials. It was the first AP watch that I could see the appeal without hype watch energy. I was intending to wear it for dressy occasions but the toupe leather strap makes it easy alternate regular with my Cartier Tank.

Thanks man! Never thought of it that way but I agree. Ironically being an design based collection, each has its own occasion I wear them for
