For the life of me, I have never heard the word boring used in describing anything Japanese, watches, swords, history, architecture, lacquer, art, enamel, etc.

They’ve so “boring” cause they spend their whole life just mastering one thing ^_^
Boring = clickbait? :-D Also never heard them described as boring and personally I love the understated passion, simplicity and craftsmanship coming out of japan, not only with watches
That citizen looks awesome! Does it have a unidirectional rotor? Its the one fault (for me) that citizen movements have
It’s the new 0200 movement that citizen collaborated with Swiss movements maker La Joux-Perret (they own high end watch brand Arnold & son) . In my personal opinion it’s better than Tudor in house , omega 8900 series movements ans entry level GS movement.
It is the most expensive Citizen. Very accurate as well. I was interested, but I like looking at sweeping second hand. 0200 calibre have a small second hand

Love that citizen 0200.
Both of these are amazing
this Japanese brand looks interesting and captures my interest as does GS and Kuoe !

Love the Citzen’s dial. As always, love any Grand Seiko. None of them look boring to me.
That citizen is SICK. love the texture on the dial. It's like a crackle engine finish.
I love this Citizen! Looks high quality 💯

My favourite ascetic is all things Japanese :)
