Out of Comfort Zone question

This year I Challenged myself to get out of my comfort zone and expand my collection with brands, dials, styles, and materials. I said I would never wear any of these at one point With the predetermined mind side of why. So the challenge goes One watch each month for one year. Above Left to right is January through April. There are reviews on each watch, except for April which I will do at the end of the month. I’m curious which one is the most outside of your comfort zone and why?

I just don't like dive watches and I'm not sold on bronze

It was the bronze for me!

The #oris candy lipstick is out of my comfort zone. I love pink and the pink dial. I would wear one proudly. The combo with the bronze is too much for me though. Love it overall though.

Thank you! That was definitely the double whammy for me originally.

I'm not a fan of pink.

·

not a pink hater but combined with bronze case it is a little bit catchy

The Zelos … cus I own it 😅🤷

Stays in a box (it’s an important part of my watch discovery journey).

I honestly like them all but I’m not comfortable enough to wear that Oris.

Pink was a hard pill to swallow at first! 😂

For me it's Zelos - had a Ti Swordfish and hated it. Didn't like the gaudy styling or the material & I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want a watch that turns my wrist green.

Don't like the look of Studio Underd0g or the movement.

The Oris is pink, really not my colour ,& again it's bronze.

Only one I'd wear out of those is the Farer.

All valid reasons why I said I would never try these originally. However, in the metal and on the wrist, there are things I really like about each one

Zelos the lume and dial

Farer definitely the dial

Underdog dial textures and color palette

To be reviewed soon 🍻🍻

Not a fan of that Zelos case. The other 3 I'd proudly wear. It's a very cool little 3 watch collection right there.

44mm block of bronze. It’s a chucky monkey for sure. 🍻

A cotton candy dial colored diver? Definitely the Oris. It looks awesome, but it would always be very beachy, shirts and polo/T-shirt type watch for my style, so one I would be least likely to acquire.

Look forward to reading about your experience. Must admit,I'm intrigued by bronze and whether it does make your wrist green. ( I've partially acidic sweat and have rotted aluminium watches in the past!!) 🍻

So far no green! It was definitely a concern as well! 🍻

I have a very eclectic collection, so I'm all over the place (dress/diver/wooden/bright dial colors,etc.). I pushed myself to get out of my comfort zone with straps and so far it's been liberating.

You have a very nice collection. I love color so I'm digging your style...

I love that a change straps non stop now as well! Variety is the spice of life! 🍻

Probably the red on red for me. It’s just so much red lol

Love the farer and Oris,.lovely watches. The bronze is the thing outside my comfort zone. I don't think I'd like the way it ages 🤣

It’s unique unpredictable however it can be very unattractive as well. 🍻

I'll admit it. I'm not man enough to wear pink but that Oris is killer!

I get it 😂totally

Pink, just because I think it could be a fad and will soon be cast to one side until the fad comes around again. Just like 60's, 70's, 80's Fashion 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, no way I’ll make it long enough for it to come back around 😂 definitely a trend lately 🍻

Ha, I get that feeling 🤣

·

Actually I like them all but I chose the Oris because of the pink and bronze combo.

·

All just fun watches. The real question is how to wear short sleeve shirts in winter.
