What if Star Wars character wore watches? Part 1/5

Han Solo would wear the #Seiko #Flightmaster SNA411. #SeikoSunday

Han is an ace pilot so he would need a pilot's watch. But he's also not a fancy guy so he probably wouldn't spend on an IWC or similarly priced watch. A tool watch like the #Flighty would suit him fine. Plus, he could use the sliderule bezel to make calculations, since he's also not particularly fond of computers.

Do you agree?

The toy is the Micro Galaxy Squadron #MillenniumFalcon.

He would wear an IWC, that he swindled Lando over a game of Sabaac.

A fake Rolex. Something he can quickly use to swindle someone.

I see Han as more of a Marathon guy... He'd have a no nonsense Navigator.

An IWC for Lando 🤔 My choice was close. Watch this space!

·

I’d say he’s wearing a fake. Lol But a very nice one.

You’re right, Lando would wear the gaudiest most flamboyant watch possible

I am not sure what kind of watch it is, but my man is definitely rocking a bund strap 😂

Not a bad choice, but I personally feel like Mr. Solo would wear something with a bit more of that late 70's to early 80's grungy, retro sci-fi aesthetic. My pick for him would be a Seiko Silver Wave G757-5010 digital chronograph.

Uh they do, in their universe they're called chronos. Star fleets and Navy's usually have their own time, I think they have their equivalent of Greenwich mean time in legends before Disney decided star wars made too much sense and axed all the lore that made up my childhood.

You can spot imperial officers and rebel pilots wearing them in the different Disney series if you can stomach that kind of thing.

Also Han seems like a Brietling man to me.

This is a good choice, but let’s not forget that Han is a smuggler, a boot legged, known mafia associate, and a gambler. He has people to impress. He’s going to have a Breitling Navitimer, at least until he loses it gambling or has to pawn it for a debt.
