What happens when Rolex president decides to the battlefield? I guess its this watch.
Runs on ETA Caliber 2834-2. it has nice sweep and butter smooth date change at midnight but i have to admit i am somewhat dissapointed by its power reserve and rotor performance. It really struggles to get my watch going through the night. My other piece -Orient ray has no such problem whatsover going strong even 30h after taking it off without a need to resort to handwinding.
Still wouldnt sell it. Its a gift to myself for getting first good job.

Is yours a couple years old? Mine is recent production, so it has the H40, which has 80hrs. It’s a version of the powermatic 80, with free-sprung balance. My khaki field officer is a bit older and has a 2824 in it, unlike current production. At least it’s easy to adjust: the pm80s tend to come well-regulated, which is a good thing, cuz they are much harder to adjust.
