Looks like Halios has updated their website with some images of the Seaforth IV. It’s got several bezel options and comes in stainless steal or titanium. The colors are pastel blue and Bahama yellow and something called “NF Black”. I have been wanting to get my hands on a Halios for some time. The pastel blue is not so exciting to me. But I’m surprised at how much I like the yellow. And I’d like to see what the black looks like. Release is supposedly late 2022. Whatever that means. Depending on configuration the price is $775. That seems very reasonable to me. What do folks think?

Thanks @roberto. I agree with where you situate Halios within the microbrand space. I’d also throw in Raven Watches and MKii, since Halios and those two are sort of ur-microbrands growing up together from the early days. I’ve got a Nodus and absolutely love it. I’m sort of all over the place with my own color interests. My Nodus is a blue. Same with my Doxa. I think I’d go for the yellow Halios. Raven has a cool yellow diver as well. I’d love a red dial, but haven’t found the right one yet. Here’s my blue watches:
Here’s the yellow Raven (photo credit Raven Watches):
The Helios blue is “meh” but the yellow is a beautiful shade with superb legibility.

I totally agree
The Yellow is almost an Orange. I like it alot. Though I'd go black if it was for me, colour like that is great but too much for me to pull off.
Nice looking watch though.
Thanks for this post @MegaBob. I’ve been wanting to get my hands on one for a few years. But I’m not particularly moved by these colors. I like the yellow more. I really wanted the Halios x Huckberry Universa.
But the roll out was such a mess for that, if you may recall. They were sold out before they were even announced as live by Huckberry. I may just save the money for a larger purchase I’ve been dreaming about.
I couldn’t have said it better. 👏🏼👏🏼
I’ll join in on that dream.
Too bad, they decided to get rid of the date window
i purchased my Universa with the grey dial second hand recently, can’t speak for the buying process which I’ve heard nightmares from some.
But the watch in hand is a treat to wear, forms to my 7in wrist well. Only issue I could find was in the beginning the winding was quite tight as my particular unit was very lightly worn but after a few days of winding it’s been very smooth.

Sounds great. Any photos?
Big Halios fan. Love my Universa and looking forward to the version 2 down the road (reportedly will have an automatic movement). The Universa is one of the best designed and most comfortable watches at any price point. I agree that I'd put Halios in the same tier as Raven, Traska, Lorier, etc but it anything, Halios gets more buzz than any of those brands.
I'll sit out the Seaforth release as I prefer a bracelet and Halios' bracelet and clasp are excellent. I also don't need another diver:)
And a raven for good measure

@admit_to_IM , thank you so much for sharing. Beautiful photos. You just convinced me that a Universa is what I need next. The dial looks great and I love the design. Looks like a strap monster for sure. Do you know when the next version is coming? I’d actually prefer it to be mechanical but I’m going to seriously consider picking one up. Also the Raven looks great! I’ve been thinking about getting an Airfield for some time. I really like the new dial design. Thanks again!!!

Thanks! I am not sure when V2 is coming out; the site says "late 2022" which is all i know. Crossing my fingers for a date and a black dial🙏

Black dial would be great! I’d go for that! Here’s hoping. Since the Seaforth seems to have black as an option, maybe this will too! I’d be fine without a date Window though.

Only photo I have of mine at the moment. Like @admit_to_IM said I will probably sit out the seaforth release as well and wait for series 2 Farewind as I much prefer the case and bracelet of the Fairwind.

Great photo!! thanks.
I've just discovered this brand and it's local to me in Vancouver, BC. Gladly, I prefer the blue vs all the yellow lovers. How likely is one to win a lottery spot to buy this watch? More pics appreciated, thanks!

I don’t know for sure the wait/lotto process. The website said new models were going to be available late 2022 and others in 2023. But I don’t think they have been released. I think it’s the kind of thing where you’ve got to check the website constantly.
Thanks and yes easy enough to check back and I guess I could even register for the lottery.
