Happy International Women’s day!
Happy Friday Crunchers. In honour of IWD I’m double wristing with my Mr Jones watches. ‘Berry Late Again’ and ‘Blueberry Late Again’ both designed by the fabulous Ana Dias. ‘But how do you tell the time?’ I hear you cry…The bitten strawberry or singular blueberry are the minutes and the full strawberry or the three blueberries are the hour. The letters all scramble up over the hour and then connect to make this hilarious saying on the hour (see second picture for reference).

Always tempted by this watch and both look amazing on you! Hard to choose though because the newest MJW designed by Margaret Calvert who is in her 80s is also really capturing my heart. Happy IWD!

It’s my husband who’s always late in our household. I blame the fact that he’s Sicilian and a cultural thing 😂😂

My daughters are 50% German and Puerto Rican. I attribute their obsession with perfection to the former side and obsession with perfect hair and being late AF to the latter.

My wife is a big Mr Jones hoarder. She too has both Berry Lates & A Perfectly Useless Afternoon & Evening watches. She's a far more prudent collector of watches than I am it has to be said. Although she's not so prudent when I'm buying, which is the way it should be 😉

I’ve got personal gripe with these specialty celebration days. On one hand, yes, women deserve to be celebrated, on the other, why do we need a special day to be reminded? Women should be celebrated every day without having to be reminded to do so by some international agreement, why can’t humans (or misogynists) just not be selfish garbage? Anyway, most women deserve to be applauded everyday, regardless.
