It just tells time!
Before crazy prices and speculators. Before grail watches and discussion of what brand is in the God tier or if it's trash my grandfather bought this beauty for me the year I was born. It's my 1968 Explorer 1016. I know it's value these days (dispite the service bracelet and crystal....it was over 20 years ago....I know better now) and that it may be considered a grail by some. The reason I post this today is not to talk about the watch. My kid just told me she is pregnant. Got some shopping to do, gotta put my name on a waiting list. Could not be happier.

Cought the bug over 20 years ago and there is no watch that I don't like. There are plenty I cannot afford and that is a problem. Got a soft spot for vintage watches and Omega is my favorite brand.......

Congratulations! I happened to get “the call“ for a no date soon before my third was born. Don’t know if your daughter has had a sono yet but, you might be like us the first time and need TWO watches
