They actually listen !

Thank you to the WatchCrunch team. I may be part of a minority that like this brand, but you listened and came through.

Let’s earn one together then shall we 😁. What’s your favourite model?

I’ll start with my Divemaster

Aragon does pump out some impressive watches at great prices. You’re right that they are generally on the larger side but most of them do wear very well. I’ve had this meteorite dial with ETA movement for a while and it always impresses me.

Do you know the origin of the brand name?

No sorry mate, I’m really not sure about that. Would be interested to know though. The name always makes me think of Spain but I’m sure there’s something else behind it.

You are right that it is a region in Spain, but I see no connection in the About Us section. Well, Florida was discovered by Spain maybe? Or perhaps they just thought it sounded cool.

Very good micro brand with excellent value and customer service. The name originated because the founder (Wing Liang) was always fascinated with Dragons, but he decided to drop the “D” and replace it with an “A”, thereby coming up with “Aragon” as the name. I have a few of their watches, and they are an excellent value for their price.

I've had my Divemaster II in 42mm for a few months and I just love it.

Only reason I've never gotten one myself, they seem to run a bit big. I've nothing against large watches, but I haven't personally purchased anything larger than 42 for awhile now.

Been given and/or issued larger and definitely will eventually aquire my tongue in cheek Invicta for giggles at some point, but mostly hang out in the 36-40 range.

Any recommendations?

And now the dragon logo makes more sense too. Thanks for that little bit of insight 🎯

I thought the same thing when I first found out about this brand. The quality is awesome and you won't regret it.

They have 20 model lines. This will take a while to digest.

·

Haven't heard much about this watch brand, but their meteorite dials sure pique my interest

·

I feel like making a list of all these Aragon fans of whom I was previously unaware.

Oh no, Aragon is making 40mm watches!!?? What's next, minimalist 37mm models??

Before I discovered Aragon, I used to think I didn't like big thick watches. If all big thick watches were as well designed and looked as good as Aragons, I would like them too.

I learned about them from a video from Just The Watch.

Yes, I support them making a child's line with 37mm watches. Maybe even 37.5mm.

·

I'm half way through the catalogue and so far I think my favorite is the ARAGON Concept S Automatic even though it is twice as thick as I like. And I have to imagine that crown is torturous.

It is cool AF! As for the crown, beauty is pain🤣

One of my "realistic" grail watches is a meteorite dial with the tungsten bezel ❤️

That would be a great watch. The meteorite dials are really something else. My son told me I can never sell mine as he wants it when he’s older. Not 100% sure if he likes the fact the dial is from outer space or he just loves the lume, but either way it’s got his name on it 😁

·

I've always had an appreciation for Aragon My only issue is they make watches that are too large, but wing did make a 40 mm just recently..

·

Case diameter is not the only way to size a watch. The way the female end links drop off it basically hugs to contours of your wrist.
