Recommendation on a suitable steel bracelet for this watch?

This Master Collection Anniversary edition has been sitting in my collection for some time and it’s not been getting the wrist time it deserves because of the leather strap it comes on. The butterfly clasp is awkward for me and as a result I always turn to something else. Putting the watch on a steel/mesh bracelet could be the solution.

With the 21mm lug width I cannot find a suitable bracelet replacement from Longines’ website. Can the experts here recommend a good bracelet to use for this watch? Thanks in advance!

You can try to source the bracelet from Longines. The new 40mm models have exactly the same case and dimensions.

Any of these?

Also nice watch. Honestly first Long Johns ( @SpecKTator ) I would buy myself! 👌🏻

Maybe try a nice, soft brown or black seude strap with a traditional buckle instead.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I’m only looking at bracelets.

Can vouch for this being a great bracelet. The place where you bought the watch might be able to source it cheaper if you have a good relationship with them.

Lovely watch btw!

If you contact your local Swatch service centre, you may be able to buy the Master collection bracelet separately.

They pretty comfortable, going to need them in a few months 🤣

My instinct would be a beads of rice bracelet. Forstner do 7 and 9-row BOR bracelets that should look sharp.

·

I'd leave it on leather..

@Shylock have you thought about swapping the strap or even the clasp? That would solve you problem. Beautiful watch by the way

I have the Longines butterfly clasp on my Master Collection watch. This bracelet has no half link and no adjustment. Nobody sells half link for it so it either fit or it does not.

I did find a solution to make it work for me but you would need to make sure that it fits on you before buying one.

Longines only lists a tiny subset of their straps and bracelets for sale on their web site. You can find a much much larger selection of OEM Longines straps/bracelets from third parties such as mastersintime.com. If there was an alternate reference of your watch that came on a bracelet, you can find the part number of that bracelet (and purchase it) from them. That way you’ll be certain that the end links fit perfectly.

That is Pure Class

Good point. I was lucky, mine fits just right

Beautiful watch my friend,I'm keeping my fingers crossed they do that version in the 38mm with the new colours 👌I'd go full polish brick link bracelet or beads full polish,I think as long as your matching the metal any bracelet will look amazing

I have, and have come to the conclusion I like my watches on bracelets. :)

You could always just swap the clasp

You could always just swap the clasp

I’m not technically apt.

To add this comment about the bracelet not having half links and noone selling it, I can't vouch for this SPECIFIC bracelet -- but for my Record Chronograph's bracelet, I contacted Longines support via email and they had provided me with a phone number for their spare parts dept. I was told they could provide additional/spare links. Something to consider if you decide to go that route and need the half links.

edit: apologies if you get pinged multiple times. The app told me there was an error, but apparently it was posting successfully 😂
