Absolutely. Wow! We practically have the same identical watch. Thanks for sharing. There are three special watches to me. My first one given to me from my dad. the first one I purchased with my own money, and the one issued to me by the military. Definitely keepers to hand down when the time comes.
I hear you. I was lucky to find this one. Modded watches are cool and there is definitely a place for them. But modding a completely all-original vintage is sacrilege in my opinion.
The watchmaker did a great job. I cannot give you down to the second accuracy. But I do like to sync all of my watches with the US Navy's Atomic Clock. What I have noticed so far is that as long as I keep it wound it keeps great accuracy for about three weeks.
