CWC G10 fatboy reissue

Hi,

Recent purchase....great wee watch and really well put together.

I wore the original issued g10 watches for a large part of my military service so its all been a bit nostalgic.

Although size wise the dimensions seem small, on the wrist it just works, the extra thickness maybe playing its part.

Take it easy everyone

Love CWC, I completely get the nostalgia, I too had the G10 during my service, but mainly wore my own job specific pieces. Currently looking at the CWC RN diver reissue 👌 Enjoy the watch

Even if i didnt have any connection to the military CWC watches appeal to me.

Very lucky to own this RN reissue diver too....you wont go wromg with either automatic or quartz..the reissue dial and hands make a huge difference....i have an sbs diver and find it looks too small dial wise and the minute hand seems too narrow...the SBS has a gap between dial and markers....the reissue does away with this gap for the better and hS the thicker hands

A Friend of mine is in the Navy & has the CWC SBS DIVERS ISSUE QUARTZ WATCH MK.2 DAY/DATE, BLACK (SF300 QS120-DD) I saw it & instantly fell in love with it... An absolutely solid piece of kit. PVD coated with 300m water resistance 40mm but feel much bigger on the wrist 😍

I might be selling my Seiko SPB143 and looking to replace it with either the CWC W10 or the Quartz 1983 Royal Navy Diver. CWC are high on my wishlist :)

I wasn't a fan of the extra thickness so bought the standard. Love this watch

CWC watches tend to divide people into different camps based on specs, dimensions and hands etc but thats what makes this hobby so fascinating.

From what i can gather though, the vast majority of owners enjoy the ownership experience and are generally happy that they scratched that itch and purchased a watch, even if they do end up moving it on.

I know that on the forums that often people end up buying, selling. Regretting selling then buying again...often more than once....

The bonus is that they tend to hold on to their value reasonably well should you not click with a particular model.

I say that if anyone is sitting on the fence about any CWC, go for it.

Looking good 🔥, love CWC as a brand and am lucky enough to own a few of their watches. Their 1980 RN diver re-issue is fast become one of my favourite watches.
