OP 36 or 41?

I have a 7 inch wrist so I can get away with either size -- I am told.  Sadly, there are no watches to try on at any of the Rolex ADs.  I have put my request in for either size - I figure I will let fate decide.  I was wondering if anyone out there has a similar size wrist and Oyster Perpetual and if so, what size OP do you have?

Depending on where you are, some Rolex ADs now have "exhibition only" models, even if they have nothing to sell you. Could be worth calling around a bit, if you haven't already checked them all.

Tastes vary, but my wrist is more like 6.5", and the 36mm felt too small to me. For a 7" wrist, I expect you'd be happier with the 41mm.

I have an OP36 and my wrists are 6.75 " (170mm).  Most of my watches are larger, so whenever I wear the OP it can feel a bit small at first, but by the time I switch to a different watch (I usually change daily),  most other watches  feel large.

It's my understanding that the OP41 is really only slightly larger than 39mm. If that is the case, it would be similar in size to my Tudor BB58, which I feel is pretty much the ideal size for my wrist. Of course, that is a totally different watch, and factors such as dial color, bezel width, lug-to-lug distance, etc all need to be considered.

Given that your wrists are larger than mine, unless you have a preference for smaller watches to begin with, I suspect that the OP41 would likely be your better choice.

I have have a 7 inch wrist and have a 41 Datejust. Not the same watch, but the 36 looked too small on my wrist.

I also tried on a OP36 and OP41 and i would recommend you the 41

Thank you dominik - the 41 sounds like the way to go
