Looking for…

  • Black dial

  • California dial (preferrably)

  • 40mm diameter and under

  • Date function

  • 50/100+ M Water Resistance (100 preferred)

  • Quartz (not pop-on caseback)

  • Good lume

Other details I like but won’t be upset if not present:

  • screw-down/signed crown

  • Knurled crown

  • Some sort of timing bezel

  • Drilled springbar holes

  • Even lug width

Are there any cheap options that fit this? I’m fine with fauxtina btw. How feasible would it be to buy a cheap quartz off eBay and redo the dial myself?

You might want to check out Boldr I think one of their Safari line of watches has those features.

Ah they do but it doesn’t have a date function ☹ Date is like an absolute must for me so :/
