Two weeks ago I bought a bag of watch parts hoping to tinker with dials and learn how to dis and reassemble a movement. To my good fortune, the bag also came with a near perfect Seiko 6119C movement with a dial and caseback!
I say “*near* perfect” because two (technically 3) things are missing/broken:
The crown stem
The balance… (ouch, this one’s expensive) - I imagine a Seiko 6119A/B would work too
The case (I’ll buy an OEM one or get it milled)
It’s a big ask but if any of y’all have spare parts or a donor movement you don’t need, I’d appreciate it so much!
