Help me Decide

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect daily watch, the one GADA to rule them all. I want it to be nice enough that I feel good wearing it, but not so nice I’m paranoid about a ding here or there. It needs to be classic, simple, versatile enough for work wear (office job) or formal wear. Also smaller because I have skinny wrists. I like vintage inspired designs and clean, uncluttered dials.

I’ve tried a lot of brands like Christopher Ward and Tissot, but none have so far scratched the itch for various reasons. I’ve narrowed it down to the following two that meet my criteria and look nice from pictures and reviews. The problem is, I’ve seen very few reviews from real owners on either of these. Blog and video reviews are helpful, but after agonizing for a while, I simply can’t decide.

I would love your thoughts and/or any reviews from real owners. Thank you!

I like the Timex, but prefer the S1 version. Of those two I would go Yema as its a little less dressy and hopefully more versatile of the two

Out of the two I’d say Yema. However my previous experience of the brand would make me think twice.

What about the Baltic Hermetique

I love my Timex S2. Unique case design, subtle dial, and keeps accurate time. Bonus points for not looking like anything else out there.

Not sure if you saw my comments on the S1

Essentially it’s a fine watch but could have been better. At the right price it’s a winner but RRP is too much.

Haven’t commented on the Yema as I have no personal experience of that watch. I do note it has a butterfly clasp and - you could always change the bracelet as the end links aren’t fitted - I’m not really a fan of these for everyday wear.

I did not see your review until now, but it is very helpful and much appreciated! Thank you!

All the way for the Yema. I find lovely the both Galli's designs, but never over 50% of the retail price. They doesnt worth It.

I just want to thank everyone for your opinions! I went with the Yema. Purchased from Gnomon at a great price. It arrived today and I love it! It’s an excellent watch that is everything I hoped. I plan to wear often. 😊
