Hey man don’t sell yourself short. An “aged” wrist just shows where you’ve been and how hard you worked. You said you were done collecting and that’s fine depending on why? Because you think your wrist is too old looking please. I’m 59 and started collecting a couple of years ago, Rolex anyway, So you keep on keeping on till you’re 100!!!!
I’m fairly ocd about most of that kind of thing but knowing how hard it is to get any watch right now as I’ve waited for my last submariner and had a bracelet problem so I’m back to waiting again. It looks like the scratches at inside the clasp so you’ll be the only one who knows it and hopefully never have to identify it for any reason but the scratches are an identifying thing. I have a small scratch on my blue sub that nobody would know but me. It depends on how much it bugs ya. Wear it in good health no matter what you decide. T
