District Time - Washington DC watch show
We made to District time today - fun but crazy busy show! Highlights were meeting Ivan from Vario watches and seeing some cool titanium wathtches from the Swiss Watch Company, who make cases from T2 and T5 titanium, depending on the watch and the look. One new trench watch from them is joining my collection. I also got ‘certified’ as a watch geek by Ivan secondary to my little Vario collection (shown is a Citizen Chandler with a Vario red Italian leather strap, and Vario Empire, 1918 and Versa). Met some fellow geeks from the DMV watch group too. All-in-all a good day.

This is a great show for seeing and learning about microbrands. It’s crazy crowded, but fun. Many of the tables are staffed by the watchmakers themselves. Seeing Ivan was a treat.
