Someday I find the right smiths...I assume the Lip is made of unobtainium.
I've tried to order one of these exact models, but no luck. Any advice on how I can get a hold of one through time factors directly so I don't have to pay the egregious markup on the secondary market?

I made sure I set up my account on their website (with my email address and postal address) before the store opened. I also made sure I was logged in, so once the store opened I just kept refreshing the page and added the watch to my basket. Checkout then only took a few seconds as my details were already in the system.

Simple but beautiful
It is a very nice watch. I do love the logo as well. I would love one if I had the cash.
The only real Everest watch...

Yes - unless you want a unwarranted history lesson 😂
As a slight aside - an original Lip Himalaya is a really cool alternative to a Smiths De Luxe A404. Similar heritage (>8km expeditions).

The Annapurna is, Himalayas not (if you are lucky)
That is so very nice.
