Lol, that seems very plausible. I haven't read any Amazon reviews on it, I tend to avoid ordering from abroad when possible because of very high import taxes.
This watch is on my list of ones I want to get. It's completely unneccesary in this day and age, but it's totally cool.
Not to my knowledge. Maybe it depends on country? Mine came with the chimes and alarms turned off, and I purchased this one from an authorised Casio dealer. It seems to me to be kind of annoying to have a load of chimes going off all the time in the warehouses they ship from/stores, not to mention the unneccesary battery drain.
