Casio F-91W
Finally got my authentic F-91W in the mail. A very nice, and simple little watch for $30. Very happy with my purchase.
For those who have been following, I bought an F-91W from ebay a little while ago. I had suspected it would be fake, and it was of course. I already got my full refund and got to keep the fake.

Not to my knowledge. Maybe it depends on country? Mine came with the chimes and alarms turned off, and I purchased this one from an authorised Casio dealer. It seems to me to be kind of annoying to have a load of chimes going off all the time in the warehouses they ship from/stores, not to mention the unneccesary battery drain.

Perhaps the ones on the Walmart shelf were all set that way by people with senses of humor like my own, but I recall reading Amazon reviews of people perplexed on how to turn the noises off.

Lol, that seems very plausible. I haven't read any Amazon reviews on it, I tend to avoid ordering from abroad when possible because of very high import taxes.
