The want is real

Been following this on eBay but more than I’m willing to spend.

$250 new in 1974 which is about $1525 today.

I doubt another exist new old stock. https://www.ebay.com/itm/175626481217?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=87I8L_HqTHC&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=CzYCg5_2QMu&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Thx but at $995 that’s not gonna happen from me.

I can’t figure out why I like these watches with the goofy little displays. Yeah, they look kinda like cool robots from the 70s, but that’s no excuse for the display. But for some reason, I find myself tempted to get the credit card out every time I see one.

Edit: of course like an idiot I followed the link. After seeing the other ones, apparently $995 is a bargain. Good lord.

Yeah for the real deal from mid 70’s they are not cheap.

They were cutting edge and as a kid during that period I am pretty fond of LED and early LCD watches.

Look up the 70’s Bulova Computron for a real wild one. They actually released a new version a couple of years ago.
