Rolex Vienna Philharmonic Day Date 36

This might have already been posted and I apologize if this is a repeat.

Rolex doesn’t do special editions very often.

This release celebrates their fifteen year relationship with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Rolex sponsors their New Year’s Eve concert every year.

Rolex explains that this special edition “is fashioned in 18ct yellow gold and adorns a finely crafted dial representing a violin and its volute, a decoration made using the champlevé method of grand feu enamelling. Directly etched into the yellow gold base, the violin design is coloured by hand in different shades of green.”

Green is always a good choice in my opinion and this dial is pretty stunning.

Very limited quantities for “select clients” have been announced.

So John Mayer and his pals will be sporting one soon.

Nice looking dial. I say that is the way to do a celebration watch.

·

I hope these get into the hands of people who appreciate both watches and classical music 🤞

I'll wait for the Pagani Design version.

That looks good.

Oh wow… that’s pretty ugly.

Not as ugly as the puzzle or the circles but it gets close.
