My first Omega….of course it’s vintage & odd.

I have always loved Omega but with thirty watches still never owned one. 🤷🏼

Well I have corrected that omission with this 166.095 Deville from 1972. I found it on Reddit Watch Exchange and quickly made a deal. It literally was posted for one minute when I saw it.

I have a knack for a bit more odd watches or things period. I like a Speedmaster as much as the next person but leave it to me to get a big cushion case Deville.

Old trusty 752 movement and what I think makes the watch is the 1173/646 bracelet that fits so seamlessly to the case.

I think the style has held up well and the 36mm wears larger by design and fits well with current trends actually.

Ha! You’re right.

I just did and instead of “waiting on an Omega” it now says “waiting on an Omega Globemaster”. That’s my grail watch I’d say. At least for now.
