Some date functions are so small that they are near useless. A cyclops does help sometimes. My preference is a large, or two digit date. I’m happiest with that, but can take or leave a cyclops.
Up to 5 years ago no way. Now, if I have a date window, I need a cyclops or I might as well not have a date complication. One part of getting older that's not so great.
Only one watch in my collection has a cyclops so I keep my loupe next to my watch box so I can check the date when switching watches. Maybe I should just look at it as glass half full and stop setting the date at all.

I like a date, and with my bad eyes, a cyclops makes sense - I just don't like them on top of the glass.
