What is your preferred style of wristwatch?

Do you love wearing dive watches for their stereotypical durable build?

Or do you find yourself gravitating more towards racing style chronographs like the TH Monaco, Seiko's Speedtimers and the like?

I'm primarily a dress watch person with slight leanings towards sports watches for their inherent shock resistance.

I know watch lovers who are so enamored by military timepieces like Hamilton's Khakhi family, Breitling's aviation chronometers and Marathon's military grade models.

Tell me what genre is the one you love the most!

I wear a variety of watches but find myself gravitating towards dress watches. Growing up, my dad would always buy me a dress watch. As I got older, I started purchasing different types, but recently find myself eyeing dress pieces.

I started my Journey laying my eyes mostly on divers, but I’ve gradually moved towards the chronograph and dressy end.

I started with Dress watches, in fact, I hated divers, and then somehow over the years half my watch box became divers lol.

For me, it’s a bezel-less watch, but not a dress watch. Think the Aqua Terra. So I voted “other”.

Had to go diver. Although I do wear a lot of digital.

I find myself drawn to pilot and field style watches a lot of late. Guess I am a fan of Arabic numerals.

Dress watch —- I just feel so good when I’m wearing one of my dressy pieces and a blazer.

·

I love them all, I like variety so I have at least one of each type,so I have a watch for any occasion

Chronographs are my go to, I really love the bicompax/tricompax look. I grew up mostly looking at F1/automobiles racing, so my interest for the chronograph started there.

But I love all type of watches, but not really a fan of dive watches, only a few really get my attention.

Skeleton is probably the only style I don't want to own, I just don't like the look, too busy.

It used to be more sporty watches but I’m getting more into dress watches now. You can get a lot of value for the money with a dress watch, they are smaller usually so more comfortable to wear and I don’t really bring my sports watches in the water anyways. That’s what Casios/GShocks are for.
