Struck Out!
I was hoping to find a yellow Tsuyosa here in the Dominican Republic but surprisingly all they had were Fossil & Guess, then it jumped to Bremont, Hublot, Breitling and Rolex - nothing in between. 🙄 In a couple of days we'll be in Nassau, maybe I'll find something there, but I'm surprised that this stop didn't have a broader variety. Put on my Orion Hellcat and grabbed some 🍺 at the Sky View bar to comfort myself from this devastating blow. 😉😂

Orion is a one man brand. Fortunately, this one man is Nick, a master watchmaker outta Philly who got the bug modding Seiko SKXs back in the aughts. He got SWATA certificated one of only three schools outside of Switzerland allowed to offer the certification, and got down to business bringing us amazing, super clean fit and finished watches. I own three Orions, a black hellcat, a matte black Calamity, and a Field Standard. Everything is thought out and perfect for what it is. The super domed crystal on the Field Standard plunges into the bezel continues right down to the lugs and solid end links of the bracelet. The Calamity has a very tooly feel, but is refined enough to pull off with a suit jacket, while the Hellcat is just a looker. And there is no going back from the big ass knurled crowns...a delight to wind.
The back of the calamity has this amazing slight arc to it so it just melds with your wrist.

Sweet! Yeah I didnt see much of what royal carribean had. But they had Citizen, Invicta, Bulova, Pre Owned Rolexs, Tags, Omegas. And I bet a lot more that I didnt see, I didnt get to explore the watch shop enough. But I got the Citizen Carson Chronograph with the white dial. Its the one you will see in most of my WRUW posts lol. But yeah we went to Nassau and Labadee and Falmouth at the first of March. Im wanting to buy more citizen, cause I do love the eco drives and just the designs in general. But Ive definitely been looking into Seiko, Bulova, Orient, Zelos, and Tissot a bit more.

Your dang right! And yeah I only have 1 Citizen and 2 Invicta, the rest are cheap amazon brand watches I bought for more of the quantity and not quality, so I am trying to get more good quality watches to replace them lol
