Biggest purchase yet for me

Got a sizeable bonus for reenlisting recently and celebrated it with my most expensive watch purchase yet.

Its still very early, just arrived last night, too early to tell if it's a long term keeper or not, but I'm enjoying it very much so far. It's my only skeletonized watch, and it really is like a piece of art on the wrist. Love the bracelet and can't stop looking at that dial.

Nice watch! Congrats!

So cool! You really can't appreciate just how light the titanium is until you try one on.

Agreed. I had a couple of titanium watches already and their difference in weight is noticable, but this zenith is feather-light.

You can't stop looking at the dial because it takes a while to figure out what time it is !!   LOL !   I'm not a fan of the skeletons , just for that reason.  Yours  is one of the better style skeletons that I have seen.  Who did you "re-enlist" with ?

This is one of the more legible skeleton dials I've seen in person. Even in low light. Army National guard.

Is that one of the ceramic ones?! Gorgeous!

I considered the blue dial variant as well, definitely an underrated watch.

Congratulations mate. Mad watch! I've just pulled the trigger (today) on the GS White Birch Spring Drive 🥳🥳🥳🥳

Thank you, and likewise! I was debating a GS spring drive for this purchase, I ended up going with the zenith because the defy classic was discontinued. The white birch is a sharp watch though. Great choice.

Thanks watch buddy! Enjoy your new piece 👌

Correct! Been wanting to try a ceramic case so this will be perfect for summer 😎

I joined the NY National Guard when I was 17 years old into the Military Police.  Never went to college.  Ended up retiring after 17 years as a helicopter pilot Captain.  Best of luck to you.  My G-Shocks were bought during Officer Candidate School and then one at Flight School.

Right on! I'm in the Florida guard, just made E-5 this year, signalier. Hope you're enjoying retirement 🙌.

Love that Zenith.  I have been looking at purchasing one, just haven't pulled the trigger yet.  Skeleton dial, but still very legible.  For me, if I can't see what time it is then there's not much purpose in wearing it.  This one does the job.

Nail on the head brother. It's a work of kinetic art but still tells the time. The mirror finish on the hands helps a lot. There's even a small white piece behind the date to help with legibility on that portion.

First, thank you for your service!

That is a fantastic watch! I love Zenith and they have been hitting it out of the park since the focus on widening the El Primero line from vintage reissues to excellent modern designs.

My favorite of the recent releases was this reissue of the "Cover Girl" they did with Revolution Watch...
