People want to make money.
If you can get a few quid extra for sticking a brand on something that isn't that brand companies will.
Same goes for anything. Hell the Chinese even cloned the fiat multipla with the zoyte m300 so a Casio f91 or g shock isn't that difficult (ask me we bought one unknowingly)
I think I may actually really like this site (yes I'm new) this thread alone speaks volumes.
I've seen similar posts of Facebook and the Rolex types there would have given you massively different advice buy it flip it etc.
This is so refreshing and from someone unlikely to ever buy a Rolex because of what they have become..
Quite a chunk of faith restored face
I prefer slimmer watches than dive watches as an example.
In all honesty old Seiko 5's float my boat as it were.
However I do work at times with largish batteries ie 2000kg 80v 900ah things for industrial lift trucks so...
I need to wear plastic things for those hence a couple of g shocks a really cheap sekonda g shock imitation and a Timex plastic think quite frequently adorn my wrist.
Edit pic of the ones I wear to actually work rather than the other work that isn't really work lol
