I want a Partitio sooooo bad.

Stowa (sH-tow-Va?) is an amazing brand. From what I've heard/readup at least.

I wanted Tangentr, so I almost bought the Antea but went for the Nomos Tangente anyway (coz we all know, if you want it, you'll eventually get it, and that would have been more expensive to buy both).

Probably in distant future someday:

Nomos Metro 35 ( they have been pushing larger sizes lately, hope they keep 35mm)

GS Snowflake/ HI-Beat or even a basic SBGR051

Seiko Landmaster Sagarmatha.

Seiko Frost Monster with the 6r15 movement

Story of my life.

I'm a simple man. For one that I would actually wear everyday: GS Snowflake. It does it all. I'd even try to get the best example of the old Seiko/Grand Seiko logo version for more discreteness

commented on $3 grand (give or take) to buy a watch...what are you getting? ·

Some notable watches to definitely checkout before making your purchase.

Your budget could get you:

Any high-end Seiko with 8L or Spring Drive movement

Pre-owned Grand Seiko /Credor.

Any Nomos within price range.

Any Sinn or Damasko within price range

Prefer mechanical, wouldn't mind certain Quartz movements.

Higher end Quartz are accuracy fiends. Citizen Chronomaster, GS Quartz, are technological marvels. I'd even put Spring drive in the same bucket.

Midtier Thermo compensated movements are probably the last watch you'll ever NEED. (Eg Swiss Quartz-equipped models, Seiko Dolce).

Currently enjoying my Casio A-1000.

If ok with quartz: pre-owned Credor Quartz references, Seiko Dolce, Seiko SWR049(tank style), Orient Capital.

Automatic: anything with Miyota 90xx movements (Islander, Traska, etc)
