Yes, I am painfully aware that this sounds like a clickbait news article but let me assure you, dear reader, that was exactly how my watch collection started. Granted, there were about six alternatives I could have gotten instead but it was all in the name of annoying someone who was rather deep into the whole horology business.
Well, the task failed successfully, I reckon. Instead of stopping there, next thing I know its suddenly watching Teddy B, Ben's Watch Club and similar channels and browsing for actual start to my collection. Somehow owning various tick-and-tock implements seemed to tickle my goblinoid hoarder brainium just right.
Cut to the current times after adding MDV-106, Edifice, G-SHOCK and this one Lorus automatic to my collection and respectfully eyeing Orient V4 and PRX for the near future. Thanks to hyperfixation and the aforementioned someone, of course. Might not be the bestest collecting start in the world but the sense of pride and accomplishment is still there.
As for now I am here to be a lovable nuisance in the discussions with mostly sane additions to what is being discussed. For most part, that is. Thus, hello to whomst see this.
