What colour strap for a blacked out watch

I have just bought the Elliot Brown, Holton,101-001-R06 Professional watch. A really solid affair and used by the military and NATO. I love it.

I would like to consider a change of strap occasionally. What colour would go well with this type of blacked out watch? Elliot Brown make a navy blue rubber one, in the same style as the above. As their straps are so good, I wonder if that colour would work.  Any other ideas would be welcome, too. How about an aged, brown pull-up leather strap?

The good thing with the black watch is that almost nothing would look wrong. How about getting a strap in a green to match the numerals. You can probably get a NATO in that colour that would give it a bit of a fun Summer feeling.

i think light brown or some dessert camo nato strap would look nice, but on black buckle too. an aged leather strap would be good too

Yeah, get something that matches the markers/numerals.

Thanks, guys, those are a lot of very useful ideas and I appreciate them. At the moment, I think I might go for a green rubber strap or a vintage brown leather one.

It is an incredible watch and - as is usually the case - looks loads better in real life than it does in a photo.

A better photo (from the EB watch page).

What I usually do, is going to the omega website. Choose a watch that has a similar color scheme as the one I have, scroll down and there you can swipe through their strap options to see what colors might match.

in your case, I would try the dark side of the moon or the SMP black.
