A good dress watch?
I was rather taken by this Avaner watch. It is described as a 'big faced military watch.' and I have no reason to doubt this. There must be plenty of big faces in the military.
I feel it would be a nice dress watch to add to my collection. Does anyone else have experience of Avaner watches? Have you found them to be a little too fussy? I have found this one priced at £18.99.

I collect affordable watches and if possible, ones with some history behind them. I like Vostok and have three of their's. I have a one-handed, Luch watch from Belarus and a beautiful, English, Elliot...

It is clearly a novelty piece of semi-disposable nonsense, but we are required to encourage all watch purchases here, so yes, it'll be great in a Richard Mille tacky way. Get one or more, review. What else has a thermometer and compass and backup clock all one one wrist thing?
Wait, why are there six controls? Maybe reconsider.
Would it look nice with a navy blue suit? What is your opinion? (I will ask again tomorrow.)
If I buy one, I will probably wear one of my wife's dresses, a pair of Dr Marten's and have my head shaved. That should complete the look. 😜 No need for a navy blue suit with this one.

At a risk of sounding like the pedant that I am, is it possible for something to be 'semi-disposable'? Surely it is disposable or it's not? I suspect that this watch is disposable. The quicker the better.
Does it come in men’s sizes? All kidding aside, over under on how many of the crowns and pushers work? I am guessing two, but perhaps the chrono function actually works?

Wear that for Halloween with a dressy Pimp Suit!
I’d only really be able to wear it with my snakeskin shoes tho, and they come out when the green suit is back from the dry cleaners… So a bit of a limited use case I think 🤔
The pimp and the green suits sound ideal ways of showing off this magnificent timepiece. I notice that Amazon stocks different colourways for this one. I might buy all of them.
Wearing this watch might bring to end the discussion about whether or not people notice your watch. I suspect that those who love this style will notice it straightaway. You may even see tears of joy...or something very similar.
