Building a watch and I realised I ordered the wrong everything...

I decided to make a few watches this month... And yeah. I ordered the wrong cases, the dials weren't the right fit (the shipper is to blame for that)... But Yea... Not fun last night.

Oh that’s sucks dude!! Sorry been there myself, but it was my fault, a learning curve with right measurements and sizes …

You can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs. An opportunity to learn?

·

An opportunity for more watches!

This is the main fear/obstacle in doing such a thing. Apparently even sticking to the safe standard NH35 doesn't avoid such problems.

·

Well you've still learnt more & accomplished more than the vast majority of us!

Good luck mate 🤞🏻👍🏻

Yes, it happens quite often. It is not only limited to shipping errors, but many items are categorized wrong. (It helps to compare different vendors on AliExpress, if possible.) I order hand sets well on advance and also in multiples. I also order multiple dials, unless we are talking the higher end vendors, such as Namoki or Komoworks.

Ahhhhh OH no!

·

So I ordered a new case, two new dials and several hands. Now instead of making two watches I'll. Be making 3.

Final words: order more stems.

Skilly

Final words: order more stems.

Was thinking about doing that. Guess I'll do it now.
