Case Sketches.

Some preliminary sketches of the case.

I am looking for an industrial/classic look, no bezel - aiming for simple construction.

Simple is always preferable in my opinion. A nice curved lug is great too.

Aliexpress has the best selection of cases around. Anything Seiko or Rolex looking, fitting almost every movement out there. Most north american suppliers only handle Seiko stuff.

To be honest I will be going to manufacture the case, hands, crown, buckle, and bridges for the movement* by myself. The watch will have no stock parts except for the base movement, which will also be re-engineered.

*I have reverse-engineered the movement so I have all the technical data needed.

I wish you well in this project. That's a lot of end mill time and plaiting. Are you going to print, mill or cast the cases?
