🤯 OMG!!!! This is the next watch that I have been looking at seriously. That is a beauty. Very similar to the Breitling AVI 1953 Re-Edition that I have been comparing it to. I am not sure If I should go Breguet or Breitling 😕

thank you, the avi is simply put, gorgeous, I noticed it’s heavily discounted on the grey market, which is great value.. both are styled similarly.. a preowned breuget is a tremendous value, I bought mine a few months ago for around $4500 usd.. best of luck go with what feels right👏👏😁

If you haven't already tried out the Breitling in person, definitely do so. It's awesome, but there is one definite con to the watch: The rotating 12-hour bezel feels like it came out of a Cracker Jack box. It feels tinny and cheap - almost as though it were made of 5 layers of aluminum foil glued together. My understanding from my research of the watch is that they did this on purpose, as Breitling wanted the watch to be as true to historical specifications as humanly possible - it really is a "re-edition." I guess that goes to show how much progress manufacturers have made since 1953 in terms of fit, finish, and build quality.
Regardless, it's my favorite chronograph, by a country mile.
The lume is spectacular
The 15-minute totalizer at 3 o'clock is really unique. It ticks every 30 seconds - never seen that in a chronograph before
Totally legible and totally flies under the radar... unlike nearly any other Breitling I've ever seen!
With all that said, though, the Breguet Type XX is out of this world beautiful!

Thanks for the insight. By the end of this year, one of these two watches will be in my collection!

Yeah, that tissot is beautiful.. the bi compact registers are amazing, it really emphasizes the big eye nicely
