Tudor BB58 Tolerance

Hello fellow watch enthusiasts, i just added a BB58 to my collection a couple days ago. But am not pleased with the tolerance of the endlinks they make a ticking noice when rotating my wrist en visably fall up and down when moving the watch. What are other owners experiences with this "issue". Its not what i expected since my bb chrono has no noticable play on the endlinks. Kind regards.

maybe the pins bent causing play. If its new that's a warranty issue.

I own a BB58 and it is solid as a rock... i would check the spring bars

Yes it is brand spanking new 1 september 2022

Interesting. I've never noticed any ticking noise, but when I went to check mine I noticed that there is certainly some "play" with the end links. The 6 o'clock side appears to have less play, but they both have a bit. Also, by looking at the back, it appears that the spring bar itself isn't moving, but the actual end link does indeed move a bit. I checked a couple other watches and they don't seem to have that issue.

Thats not really good news, i went back to the AD prior to complain about it and they told me a little play is normal due to the endlinks having to fit in the lugs. But my chrono does not have this much, i guess i will drive over again on friday and demand they send it to tudor

True it seemed to me aswell in the beginning that the 6 o clock side had more play then the 12 o'clock side, but i think that is due to perception and gravity since the 6 o'clock is moslty pointing down when looking at it on the wrist. Off the wrist however they both have the same amount as seen on the pictures i added. When you say you have checked multiple other watches are you refering to other bb58's or other tudors in general? Because i have a bb chrono aswell and it does have a little clearance but not nearly as much as the bb58 when i have it on the watch roll pillow and i rock it back and forth all i hear is the rotor (this is because of the breitling B01 in there) but when i do the same with the bb58 the endlinks rattle all over the place like a 96 DJ 🙄.

Thank you for sharing that video bob that is exactly the problem that i am getting and i feel exactly the same way that he is, i should not have to put double sided tape on the inside of the lugs on my €3580 watch that i just purchased 6 days ago at AD. He is 100% right it makes it feel like a $2 chinese watch while i have been lustering over it for so long this is quite the bummer. But i will be going back to the ad armed with this video, and i will demand for a solution to be presented.

The other watches I checked it against initially were all Rolex and Omega, as the BB58 is my only Tudor. I just checked some others, and the only other watch I have with a similar issue is a Zelos.

FWIW, I had initially purchased my BB58 on the fabric strap, and then subsequently purchased the Tudor OEM bracelet. Not sure if that makes any difference.

Tudors should not have this problem. My past 2 BB58’s didnt have this endlink fitment problem, albeit its other QC issues… i’d demand an exchange if it was newly bought. Good luck!
