Received my Baltic MR01 today. It’s a nice watch but the clasp doesn’t close securely. I emailed Baltic they are asking if I want to exchange my Beads of Rice to another one I responded and advised them that yes. When I buy watches first impression is important to me so far having a defective clasp is a little concerning😉

That’s a bummer!! Glad they are quick to take care of you
First, congrats on the watch. Baltic is an amazing brand with some great value watches and their service is amongst of the best, but ultimately, much of their lineup is relatively inexpensive and is not going going to come close to the likes of your Tudor, Omega, or Nomos. The expectation should be inline with entry Seikos, Hamiltons, etc, that is expect some QC issues.
In my experience, it is rare to find a quality bracelet on a sub $1000 watch. Now, I know that is relative, but at that price, most of the money is spent on the watch it self, not the bracelet. In most cases, it is an afterthought and they to basically grab cheap ones from the same handful of suppliers, which is why I always opt for straps in that range and immediately replace those with higher quality ones, including my Baltic. That watch would look amazing on a nice horween or suede strap.
I think Baltic will do right by you. They did right by me when I needed a couple extra links. It's a nice watch. Enjoy it.

Thank you @AllTheWatches I don’t normally buy micro brand but I’m just curious. I agree that I can’t compared them to my Tudor and Omegas. I’m a little concern that the clasp will fail and damage this beautiful watch. 😉

Thanks man! Baltic did reach back out and I am very happy with the customer service! I will say it wasn’t the best unboxing experience, but the watch is beautiful. Hope @Maverick123 gets everything cleared up and can enjoy his watch as well!

Beautiful watch
Brand seen to care about customer service and are actually working to resolve the issue? Brand judged anyway on a social media platform before issue closed out.
@AllTheWatches - preach. Probably the most sensible thing I’ve read on the platform today. Have a biscuit. A little bit of perspective would really benefit a lot of folks, but you know, 5/5 reviews for watches with obvious flaws don’t help either.
because this is the be-all-and-end-all of a watch? I’m lucky if a vintage watch comes with a decent strap, let alone a box. I’m lucky if I get three goes of bubble wrap before EvRi drop-kicks that package through my door. If I allowed that to taint a watch purchase I wouldn’t wear anything. It’s a nice looking watch from a brand who want to help you out.
