Thank you Max

I was about to buy the Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 in light Blue dial from Tissot Website and I was about to click that beautiful and venerable word that online purveyors want you to click….Purchase….. but 2 seconds I pause and saw you video. And holy shit Thank you Max.

I was at my AD to pick up a Tudor and the guy showed me the Tissot and it looks big but boy if Tissot release a 38 or 39 with updated movement. I’ll like my son waiting for Apple Watch for 8 hours. No, kidding aside I like the look and feel of the watch it’s a little big😉

I despise the Powermatics. I much prefer the classic 2824-2.

·

Personally, I think the PRX is a great watch. And really, who are you going to trust, me or @Max ?

Did you look at the 35mm? They are pretty nice!

I'm curious to know what put you off after you'd already been in, tried one on and loved it?

I love it's 70s/80s vibes, and just because @Max doesn't have the levels of cool needed to carry it off, doesn't mean you don't.

My Philosophy in collecting anything from Watches, Single Malt or my Pipes. There is no such thing as bad watches or ugly watches. It’s just didn’t work for you. They are beautiful piece of art. The type of art you can wear regardless of price point or your tax bracket😉

No not Max. I promise I will buy one when they release a 38 with a new movement😉Max don’t let them anesthetize you😊

Don't worry....even if you had purchased it would still have been a great watch for that price.

The points Max mentioned are very important and buyer should know what's inside. But it's still a great watch.

Otherwise I can recommend the Quartz version.

Danny Milton just did a PRX story on Hodinkee, but the best part was the comment section. There’s an actual watchmaker addressing the plastic parts. It’s a good read.

It’s the L2L. I tried it because the first link of the bracelet that put me off most 40mm watches I have it wears like a 40.5 mm if that this one looks huge. Thank @Deeperblue
