Let's talk about Charlie Paris

Especially their Concordia line, there is a lot to like there!

The Concordia diver:

the Concordia GMT:

and my personal favorite, the Concordia sports watch:

They all come in many different colorways and strap options but overall i like every one of them!

The sports watch comes at a very wearable 38mm and a Seiko VK31 quartz which makes this an incredible everyday grab & go watch. Oh and 300m WR is crazy!

What do you think?

I can’t get over the circle marker at the top. This type of dial design just begs for a triangle.

I agree what's so special about 12 anyway lol I kinda appreciate it. It is however kind of funny that the GMT is loaded with complications from Date to Chrono to GMT but the sports watch doesn't seem to even have a Chronograph 😆

wdym with chrono? the GMT has a inner GMT chaptering and a normal diver bezel

but yea the sports watch has no date probably because of the movement

but i like it, its clean :)

12, 3, 6 and 9 of a dive watch dial have different markers. Non dive watches 12 will almost always have a unique marker if not numerals to aid with quick orientation and identification.

Having a circle at the top just looks off and hurts legibility.

I know but 12 is easily located anyway so I don't think legibility is hurt noticably, tho if it was 3,6,or 9 it would be for sure.

Was just looking at Charlie Paris. They seem exceptionally solid for a microbrand!

·

I rather not today, let's wait a while, it really looks like CW with Longines diver head on. I'm pretty sure once held on hand it might feel different but not it's own self. I'm not hating but a lot of micro brands look at each more so than today than ever.

I really like the textured green dial on the gmt

·

I like it. It’s also nice to see a real Sprite colorway

·

This gmt looks awesom… very nice watch! 👌

·

Really nice love the green dial, not to sure on the name reminds me of the kid that got bit on YouTube,Vietnam War films, and cocaine bear,🤣

·

Very classy! Thank you for the post, I did not know this brand.

·

Sure do wish there was a mechanical version.
