White Dial Watch

I'm looking to get a White Dial watch. Just looking to see if anyone has any ideas. Currently thinking Traska, Marathon, Seiko.

It doesn't need to be a specific type of watch (GMT, Field, diver ect). I really don't want to spend more than $1200. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks.

That is a very broad category. You go across genres, sizes and complications...

Do you have any preference? Even a minor one.

You are correct. Around 38-41 in size. I have been really looking at the Marathon.

·

That's in there as well. Thanks.

I love Marathon, but the GSAR/MSAR is a chunky beast. If you're cool with that you can't go wrong with one.

I went for a CW C63 for my white dial fix.

So nice. Thanks

Of those pictured I'd go for the Marathon. Tritium tubes, great brand history and tough enough for pretty much any situation. Not quite versatile enough for a dress watch, but how often are we in formal situations nowadays anyway?! 😉👍🏻

This scratched my white dial itch and I can recommend it.

An option for your consideration. Ref. 2501.80. Enamel white.

Absolutely beautiful.. but might be out of the budget. I love it.

I have the Traska GMT in blue. It is a great watch. Fits like a glove, looks good, and the hardened steel is virtually bulletproof. I had a Seiko Speedtimer 39mm white. Also a great watch that fits very well. I sold it because I bought a Speedy and the Lunar Pilot meteorite dial. In addition to my Brew retro, Seagull 1963, and Seiko Ridley it became way too many chronographs. Otherwise I would have kept it.

Love Marathon but I must say that they feel a little expensive. I can say they have the best customer support I've ever dealt with, period.

Yes the CW is on the radar as well. I probably should have included that one instead of the freediver.(not too many votes for this one) 😂

Thank you.

The Traskas are great because of the hardening for not scratching. And the Seiko is great if you want a Daytona feel watch. I don’t personally have the Marathon but a friend has the 36mm Arctic and I love it. It’s one my list for sure. All great choices. 🍻

Traska Venturer GMT gets my biased vote because I own one (Steel Blue though). Great everyday GADA style watch plus some extra functionality. Very comfortable and that hardness coating is magical for an everyday watch. It really keeps the watch looking like new. Traska did a great job.

I have to admit I've been considering a "Seitona."

This. A STOWA Marine Original.

I really like this Baltic. I have the blue dial version and can really recommend the model.

If you tend to be rough on a watch traska is the way to go. If you want a Seiko look for a Seiko x model not Seiko 5

Haven't looked too much at the Baltic, but I will now. Thank you.
