Cleaning stainless steel

Hey, just wanted to know if anyone had suggestions on how to clean stainless steel watches. I’d prefer methods that include common house hold items but anything is welcomed!

Soapy water and a toothbrush has been my preferred method!

I use my shirt.

Assuming it has some Water Resistance and not Vintage. Good old dish soap and warm running water is all you need (maybe a non abrasive brush).

Dry it with a clean cloth afterwards to avoid water spots. But you can’t damage the surface with house hold soap.

Soap, warm water, and a toothbrush if it has water resistance.

Old toothbrush, wood toothpicks and a microfiber towel do wonders to non waterproof watches.

·

Dish washer? Maybe not

For bracelets I suggest and ultra sonic cleaner, you can find ones dirt cheap on Amazon and work wonders. Just to dip the watch in one

I dunked my grimy bracelet in white vinegar, rubbing alcohol, and a dash of dish soap and the crud flew off it. Wiping with a damp rag with any or all of these would be fine. Most silverware is stainless, so this doesn't require overthinking.

I get IPA (90%), dilute with equal volume of water and spray in the surface. If really grimy, a soft toothbrush and Qtip can help. Then wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. I do the same to my SS flatware when having a dinner party to add some sparkle.
