Just spent the morning adjusting most of my collection as we go on Daylight Savings Time, and I noticed that there is an abundance of daylight outside today, so I thought I'd save some more with a nice shot of the sunburst dial on my Islander #ISL-69. ๐
LรบmรซgaudAnar is the correct spelling, and means time machine of the sun in Quenya. I've been collecting for a few years and have a decent collection of mostly budget and entry-level watches with a few...

I had all mine done by 6 PM yesterday. The quartz ones. The autos only get set when I wear them. Since I retired 4 1/2 years ago I deal with any loss/gain of the hour Saturday afternoon so my sack time isn't really affected.
Because of you I might check out an Islander soon.๐ป
I hate DST. ย I'll feel like I'm having a heart attack when my morning alarm goes off for at least a week. ย I'm 100% for getting rid of it.
I'm lazy. My G-Shock updated automatically, so I am wearing that one today. ๐All other watches get updated when I wear them the next time.

I like it a lot, but I am a big fan of the Islander watch line. The #ISL-69 is great because it is between the 38mm Islanders and the 42mm Islanders.
I like DST but it should be all year round.
And: I change the time on each of my watches if and when I wear them.
Hearing nothing but great things about the Islander series. Given who is issuing it, I'm not surprised.

I have been happy with all my Islanders. One of the best value and quality brands in my experience. I also like that Marc is releasing watches with Ameriquartz movements assembled in the US.
