They do wonderful things that usually fail to be in line with what I'd really like, so overall I'm fairly tepid.
I love some of their models where the dial looks pressed up against the crystal. I don’t know the references. Their designs are awesome.
Five years from now watch enthusiasts who overlooked Grand Seiko will kick themselves and realize their mistake. The quality and finish of GS watches is vastly superior to Omega and Rolex. GS is beginning to establish a worldwide presence and once non watch enthusiasts become aware of what these watches offer it will be too late. Buy one while they are still relatively affordable.
DGAF until I tried on one of the GMTs a couple of weeks ago. Even my wife (who thinks watches are the stupidest thing ever) liked it.
I'm still not sure they're for me, but having tried a bunch on, I totally get why people like them so much.
