Do I sell 3 Rolex’s for “the one”

I have been toying with the idea of getting rid of a few Rolex’s to finally move into my final stages of becoming Tony soprano. FYI I am very comfortable the fact it is flashy.

I don't like the even roman numerals, but almost anything is better than a gold diver.

These days, I find golden Rolex surprisingly pretty. This gold day date looks, somehow, much better than the regular stainless steel one. And 1908 watch looks so nice ☺️: fresh, boyishly charming and handsome.

Is it just me?

I’m fortunate to own that exact daydate.. I cannot recommend it highly enough , it’s truly a dream to wear. Timeless and classic , something I will wear for the rest of my life then pass on to my son. If you decide to take the plunge you won’t be disappointed 👍🏼

I had to go with the Daydate here. Precious metal is more dress than sport imho. That said, both are darn good watches, and either is fine to possess.

Platinum - "the one."

I'd go Day Date and probably will...

Plans for the near future, 2025 at earliest, to step into a vintage 18k Day-Date with baton indices.

Will be 57 that year and it is time. Have wanted one since I was a teen.

Depends which 3 you are selling as well but the DD40 has got to one of the end game pieces in any watch collection.

DD36 yellow gold. champagne dial. No diamonds. Simple batons. Perfection. T approved.
