So the PRX wasn't for me...
I was in a shoping center here in Finland and saw a watch store that sold Tissot.
I've allways liked the sharp edges of the prx, so I desided to try one.
The lovely sales person kindly lets me to try one (40mm) and then I saw the problem:
Because of the very tall case back it was floating on my wrist like there was a balloon between my wrist and the watch.
I don't have a picture of it but I can show it with my Leijona, which has a similar case shape.
I put a piece of plastic under the watch to show you the problem. There was a tunnel under the lugs and the flat case was hovering in air.
I Also tried the 35mm version which was too small for my taste.
Before you say "get the quartz version then" the waffle dial is the best part of the watch for me.
So, no prx for me sadly, unless they make a 38mm version or put the waffle dial on the quartz.
For reference, this is how my Leijona sits on my wrist (16cm wrist)

I had one for almost a year and never really connected with it, so I understand. It is not for everyone. It is absolutely beautiful, finished well, and a fun watch, but it just wasn't me.
Prx is a great watch but like you it’s not for me, so I got myself the seastar 1000 in blue dial loving it
comfort is everything in a watch since it has to spend so much time wrapped around your wrist. The autos are a lot thicker and worse with display case back. Turned down lugs help.
Yup, also not for me. I tried the PRX 40mm twice (different colors) but ultimately sold both.
I got one and returned it immediately. It was not comfortable to me at all.
Surprised I find it wears very thin
It wasn’t for me either. I love the design and the price, but I borrowed one for a few weeks and didn’t bond with it. Lovely dial, impressive build quality for the price but just not my type of thing. Hopefully my opinion changes, the deal of it all is almost irresistable
Absolutely understand! I had the exact same problems when trying it on. 40 was too large and 35 too small for me..
So I got a Vintage V“ersion“ in 38mm 😜 no waffle dial tho but that wasn’t too important for me

I really love the design and would love to have one, but I just cannot wear one. Luckily I have my Leijona😊
