There's always that one ๐Ÿคก...

Essentially, this "rubidxb" was giving ๐Ÿ’ฉ about Tudor over Rolex and then the above occurred ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

So, here is my little protest because I've already done a long post about Tudor & (not vs) Rolex

Tudor is boss ๐Ÿ˜Ž and absolutely the superpower lume on this ๐Ÿซฐ๐Ÿป

At the end of the day, come on, wear what YOU like and tell the other person dishing out to jump! Have a good day Crunchers ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป

That comment is 100% why Rolex owners have such a bad rep. Plenty of decent owners out there, but the brand does attract a disproportionate amount of prize wโš“s.

I love both brands, Rolex and Tudor

Unfortunate but true... dishing out blanket statements like that is just absolutely toxic and embarrassing...

Yeah, I agree! There is 100% a place for both brands shoulder to shoulder imho

No. He meant he couldnโ€™t afford a gold Rolex like @KoreanAllfather has.

You should have responded to him as follows : "Take your imaginary Rolex, place it in the palm of your hands.. make a fist.. shake your fist like you are about to roll the dice"

Oh, I don't ever interact or respond on IG (with the exception of friends and DMs etc) just perv on watches but I do sometimes read the comments and it's just ๐Ÿ™„

I actually dont even look at those because my younger brother bought one and is so obnoxious about it. It's a turn off.

"Pre Black Bay" Tudor was basically the same watch as a Rolex with a different movement. I like these watches very much and own two. If someone calls them poor man's Rolex, that's okay. Perhaps they are that, but I don't wear then to show off.

Tudor today is quite different and is trying to stand on its own, with quite some success actually. I don't own a modern Tudor but I feel like there is an unfortunate clunkiness about many of their watches that is absent in their Rolex counterparts. You could of course also see that as Tudot being more rugged. That said, the BB 54 might end up being my first modern Tudor.

I feel that neither brand is obtainable to a lot of people due to their cost. With that being said , more power to who ever can afford one. You could make the same argument about people that can afford PP or Lang, they could look at a Rolex like its a San Martian. To me variety is the spice of life so enjoy what you can afford and dont worry about what you cant control.

You know what, I agree with you. Tudor - if you look at the pricing right now - is slowly creeping up in price bracket where I kind of pause now with the "affordable luxury" aspect... but definitely great pieces for what they offer in my experience

Associating an entire brand or all Rolex owners with snobbery is equally as silly.
