choke the life out of someone who desperately deserves it! LOL! ... just kidding!
my work in engineering is pretty stressful 95% of the time, so I know how you feel ... and having worked in this field for the past 43 years, I'm finding that my stamina isn't what it used to be unfortunately ...
I try not to drink during the work-week (most times), so when I get home today I'll throw a few motorcycle and/or watch videos on and relax with those!
I sit on the roof deck on top of my garage, reflect on when the sturdy concrete block structure was built in 1970, my mom, dad older brother all passed away already much too soon. I was involved in an egregious medical accident a million years ago, doctors were not optimistic for my future, yet here I am still a survivor, very often I will choose a favourite watch to assist in my quiet moments.
Good dinner somewhere and then off to a good nights sleep and up and moving with coffee and some light exercise or coach my kidโs sports activities, followed by a drive in a fun vehicle or boat ride.
I try to not make a habit of drinking after a hard day but some days just be like that. IF Iโm drinking after a hard day I usually try to aim for a really nice glass of bourbon or scotch, or a stronger beer. The enjoyment of the real high quality booze is usually enough to distract me long enough to start relaxing. Donโt forget that tomorrows always a new day ๐

Aww man, I went to Dรผsseldorf for work once, and came back to the states with a love of Altbier and education in beer history (seems everyone knew their Reinheitsgebot!). Bavaria is on my list of must travel destinations ๐ป
I just go and roll on a flow hugging with other men at a BJJ class or go fly fishing. Although I love what I do so much I donโt get mentally exhausted too often
Commenced watch collecting in late 2022 when I began looking for an "accomplishment" timepiece. I am quickly realising how dangerous this hobby is as it can be very addictive!

Similar honestly, grab a beer and look at watches ๐ค

Love the Blue. I purchased my last bottle on a cruise 10 years ago for $99!! I now drink the Black.
Great choices. I have so many whiskeys and bourbons but am drinking Papa Pillar Rum a lot more lately.
Go to sleep! Worked a busy night shift Monday night!

You've got the right idea with the Blue Label.

About the same... ๐
Drive to the river. Sit quietly on a bench and have a sparkling water and a pasty.
